Development Status of Mandarin Fish (Siniperca chuatsi) Aquaculture Industry in Shanghai
Abstract：Mandarin fish, one of China's 'Four Famous Fish', has long occupied the core position in the high-end freshwater fish market due to its delicious meat, rich nutrition, and lack of intermuscular bones. As the core city of the Yangtze River Delta economic circle, the development of mandarin fish aquaculture industry in Shanghai is not only a reflection of regional consumption upgrading, but also an important test field for national aquatic farming technology innovation. Based on the latest industry data from 2021 to 2025, combined with the national trends in mandarin fish aquaculture, this paper systematically sorts out the development process, existing problems, and current status of feed conversion in mandarin fish aquaculture in Shanghai.
