Abstract：In 2013, under the support of the Jiangsu Province 'Three New' Project, Suyang County promoted the technology of raising crabs in crab ponds with sand pike. In 2019, under the support of the Jiangsu Province's freshwater prawn industry technology system, Suyang County promoted the technology of raising freshwater prawns in crab ponds. These two models were successfully promoted in the Tao Guoyuan Crab Breeding Base in Zhongxing Town, Suyang County, Suqian City. The farmers have integrated and improved the local breeding models and have been using them to this day. The main approach is to raise sand pike, freshwater prawns, and small grass shrimp in small-sized crab breeding ponds. The breeding scale has remained stable at 10,000 mu, with an annual profit of more than 10,000 yuan per mu.
