Analysis of the Benefits of Integrated Rice and Freshwater Crawfish Farming
Abstract：In 2024, the Liaoning Provincial Agricultural and Rural Development Service Center was responsible for implementing the 'Integrated Rice and Aquaculture Technology Integration and Promotion (Demonstration Base Construction)' project assigned by the provincial government. The project was implemented at the rice farming and aquaculture base of Yulan Agricultural Development (Shenyang) Co., Ltd. in Shenbei New District, Shenyang City, which is a provincial freshwater crawfish seed breeding base. The base provided 323.23 acres of rice fields, of which 213.03 acres were used for experimental trials of various integrated rice and freshwater crawfish (crayfish) farming models. This article mainly introduces the implementation status of the freshwater crawfish farming project in rice fields and analyzes the farming situation and economic benefits.
