High Efficiency of Cultivating Eel in Net Cages within a Pond with Grass Carp and Crucian Carp Mixed Breeding
Abstract:In recent years, the aquatic product market has been sluggish, and factors such as difficult-to-control diseases have severely undermined the enthusiasm of breeders, leading to low-density breeding or even idle ponds in some areas. To avoid the risks of the aquaculture market and improve the utilization efficiency of pond water space, this study explored a new model for increasing the efficiency of common fish farming. The authors conducted a breeding experiment of cultivating eels in net cages within a pond with grass carp and crucian carp mixed breeding, achieving good economic benefits. The results are summarized below, aiming to provide basic data for the healthy development of the aquaculture industry.
