Trial of Mirror Carp 'Longke 11' in Land-based Circular Pond Recirculating Aquaculture System
Abstract：The new variety of mirror carp 'Longke 11' has excellent characteristics such as fast growth, strong adaptability, omnivorous diet, fewer aquaculture diseases, and a high proportion of scaleless individuals. Under the same breeding conditions, compared with the German mirror carp selected line, the survival rates in pond and cage farming at 24 months of age increased by 14.8% and 31.5%, respectively; the proportion of scaleless individuals increased by 23.3%, reaching 60%, with no significant difference in growth rate. It is suitable for farming in artificial controlled freshwater bodies with water temperatures between 12～30℃.
