Abstract：With the rapid development of aquaculture industry, traditional breeding models have become difficult to meet the modern fisheries' requirements for high efficiency, high quality, and environmental protection. Especially in China, the current freshwater fish seedling breeding is mostly carried out in ponds, which often suffer from low stocking density, difficulty in production management, poor feeding accuracy, serious feed waste, and low survival rate of seedlings. Therefore, it is urgent to develop a freshwater fish seedling breeding technology that is convenient for management, efficient, energy-saving, and highly profitable. Factory-based recirculating water farming, as an emerging breeding model, has gradually become an important direction for the development of the aquaculture industry.
