Abstract：The Changdao marine area in Yantai is a well-known fishing production area with rich fishery resources and a good ecological environment, providing unique conditions for the development of the fishery economy. In December 2023, the Shandong Provincial Government approved the establishment of the 'Blue Granary' Marine Economic Development Zone in Changdao, which is also the first sea-based economic development zone in China with its main area and leading industry in the ocean. In-depth research on the development of marine fisheries in the Changdao marine area of Yantai is of great significance for promoting regional economic growth, ensuring food security, and promoting ecological civilization construction.
