Abstract：2024 has been a challenging year for the mitten crab industry, with high temperatures and socioeconomic factors having some impact on crab farming and sales. The current development situation has placed higher demands on the mitten crab industry. Xinghua City has a mitten crab farming area of 630,000 mu, of which 570,000 mu are main farming areas. The output of mitten crabs and the proportion of large-sized mitten crabs have decreased compared to the previous year. According to preliminary statistics, the average yield per mu was 82.96 kilograms, a 30% decrease from the previous year.
