Artificial Breeding and Seedling Rearing Technology of Siniperca chuasia in the Han River
Abstract：Siniperca chuasia, also known as 'mother pig shell' or 'spiny package', is a fish that prefers dark environments and inhabits flowing waters with gravel and rock crevices. It mainly feeds on small fish and shrimp, with feeding behavior primarily based on ambush, which can be divided into four stages: staring, attacking, biting, and swallowing. It is one of the top predators in freshwater ecosystems. This fish is distributed in the Han River, Jialing River, and some tributaries in Hanzhong City. This paper aims to study the domestication and artificial breeding technology of wild broodstock of Siniperca chuasia in the Han River, in order to provide references for the subsequent artificial farming of Siniperca chuasia in the Han River.
