Full Artificial Large-Scale Breeding Technology of Culter alburnus
Abstract：Culter alburnus can reach sexual maturity at one year old and is a multiple-spawning species within a year. Under artificial farming conditions, it can generally be raised in 4-6 months, with fast growth and high breeding efficiency, making it suitable for multiple cropping per year in regions such as Fujian and Guangdong. In recent years, with the continuous development of the Culter alburnus farming industry, due to limited seed production technology, there has been a shortage of seedlings, which has seriously affected the high-quality development of the industry. Therefore, exploring full artificial large-scale breeding technology and its industrial application has become a key factor for industry development. This experiment established a full artificial large-scale breeding technology process, and conducted demonstration applications from 2021 to 2024 at Zhaoxing Fish Seed Breeding Co., Ltd. (Shunchang Base) and Minqiu Agricultural Development Co., Ltd. (Shaxian Base) in Sanming City, Fujian Province. Through the application of this technology, the seedling production capacity of Culter alburnus has significantly increased, gradually meeting the needs of regional industrial development.
