Overview of the Cultivation of Atractoscion nobilis and Cyprinus carpio in Southern Jiangsu and Current Status of Medication Use for Diseases
Abstract：With the development of the social economy and the improvement of residents' dietary structure, people's demand for high-protein, low-fat high-quality food is increasing, and the consumption of aquatic products is also increasing. In order to further understand the overall situation of the safety of aquaculture water product quality in Jiangsu Province and strengthen the supervision of water product quality and safety, this article conducts a survey and analysis on the breeding production and current status of disease medication use for the two fish species, Atractoscion nobilis and Cyprinus carpio, in five counties in southern Jiangsu, namely Changshu, Yixing, Wujin, JinTan, and Liyang. It also reveals existing problems and puts forward reasonable suggestions, aiming to improve the level of water product quality and safety in Jiangsu Province and ensure consumer health.
