The Impact of Integrating Fracture Liaison Service (FLS) Nursing Model with Staged Rehabilitation Intervention on the Knowledge, Attitude, and Practice Levels, Healthy Behaviors, and Recovery of Patients with Traumatic Lower Limb Fractures
Abstract:Objective: To explore the impact of integrating the Fracture Liaison Service (FLS) nursing model with staged rehabilitation intervention on the knowledge, attitude, and practice levels, healthy behaviors, and recovery of patients with traumatic lower limb fractures. Methods: A total of 153 patients with traumatic lower limb fractures admitted to the People's Hospital of Qidong City from January to November 2024 were selected as the study subjects and randomly divided into a control group (76 cases) and an observation group (77 cases). The control group received routine nursing care, while the observation group received FLS nursing model combined with staged rehabilitation intervention. The two groups were compared in terms of rehabilitation knowledge, attitude, and practice levels, healthy behavior execution rates, and related recovery indicators. Results: After the intervention, the scores of rehabilitation knowledge, attitude, and practice levels and the execution rate of healthy behaviors in the observation group were significantly higher than those in the control group (P < 0.05), and the fracture healing time was significantly shorter in the observation group than in the control group (P < 0.05). Conclusion: Integrating the FLS nursing model with staged rehabilitation intervention can effectively improve the knowledge, attitude, and practice levels of patients with traumatic lower limb fractures, promote the formation of healthy behaviors, and accelerate the recovery process.
