Application of Roy-Mindfulness Integrated Nursing Intervention in Patients with Chronic Hepatitis B-Induced Liver Failure
Abstract:Objective: To observe the effect of Roy-mindfulness integrated nursing intervention on patients with chronic hepatitis B-induced liver failure. Methods: A total of 90 patients with chronic hepatitis B-induced liver failure admitted to The 910th Hospital of the People's Liberation Army Logistics Support Force from February 2024 to February 2025 were selected as the study subjects and randomly divided into a control group and an experimental group, with 45 patients in each group. The control group received routine nursing care, while the experimental group received Roy-mindfulness integrated nursing intervention in addition to routine care. The effectiveness of the intervention was evaluated using the Fear of Progression Scale, Self-Rating Anxiety Scale (SAS), and Self-Rating Depression Scale (SDS) before and after the intervention. Results: After the intervention, both groups showed lower anxiety and depression scores compared to before the intervention, with the experimental group showing significantly lower scores than the control group (P < 0.05). Both groups also showed lower fear of disease progression scores after the intervention compared to before, with the experimental group showing significantly lower scores than the control group (P < 0.05). Conclusion: Implementing Roy-mindfulness integrated nursing intervention in patients with chronic hepatitis B-induced liver failure can effectively reduce patients' fear of disease progression and alleviate negative emotions.
