Observation on the Effect of Acupoint Injection with Different Groups of Points on Gastrointestinal Function Recovery in Patients After Laparoscopic Cholecystectomy
Abstract:Objective: To observe the effect of acupoint injection with different groups of points on gastrointestinal function recovery in patients after laparoscopic cholecystectomy (LC). Methods: A total of 82 patients who underwent LC surgery from May 2023 to September 2024 were selected as the study subjects and randomly divided into three groups: Group A (n=28, routine postoperative care), Group B (n=27, acupoint injection at Zusanli and Neiguan), and Group C (n=27, acupoint injection at Stomach, Large Intestine, Zusanli, Shangjuxu, and Xiajuxu). The incidence of nausea and vomiting, gastrointestinal function recovery effects, comfort evaluation of acupoint injection between Groups B and C, and adverse reactions of acupoint injection were compared among the three groups. Results: There were no statistically significant differences in the incidence of nausea and vomiting and gastrointestinal function recovery indicators between Groups B and C at different time points (all P > 0.05). However, both Groups B and C had lower incidence of nausea and vomiting and better gastrointestinal function recovery than Group A (P < 0.05). No adverse reactions such as needle infection or dislodgement occurred in Groups B and C. The comfort evaluation of acupoint injection was higher in Group B than in Group C (P < 0.05). Conclusion: This study tends to recommend acupoint injection at the "Zusanli-Neiguan" point group for promoting gastrointestinal function recovery in patients after LC.
