Research Progress on Nursing Interventions for Blood Pressure Variability in Patients on Maintenance Hemodialysis
Abstract:Patients on maintenance hemodialysis have a higher mortality rate compared to the general population, with cardiovascular events being the leading cause of death. However, blood pressure variability is closely related to cardiovascular disease and target organ damage in hemodialysis patients, and it is an independent risk factor for all-cause mortality in these patients. Therefore, it remains important to monitor blood pressure changes in clinical practice. How to reduce blood pressure variability in patients on maintenance hemodialysis has become a hot topic in current research. This article focuses on reviewing the intervention methods for blood pressure variability in patients on maintenance hemodialysis, aiming to provide effective evidence for clinical workers to better control blood pressure fluctuations in dialysis patients and improve patient outcomes.
