Effect of Bobath Therapy Combined with Progressive Rehabilitation Nursing Based on Case Management Model on Motor and Neurological Functions in Children with Motor Disorders
Abstract:Objective: To explore the effect of Bobath therapy combined with progressive rehabilitation nursing based on the case management model on the motor function and neurological function of children with motor disorders. Methods: A total of 96 children with motor disorders admitted to the hospital from March 2022 to March 2024 were selected as the study subjects and randomly divided into an observation group (n=48) receiving Bobath therapy combined with progressive rehabilitation nursing based on the case management model) and a control group (n=48) receiving conventional rehabilitation nursing combined with Bobath therapy. The motor function [Gross Motor Function Measure-88 (GMFM-88)], balance function [Berg Balance Scale (BBS)], neurological deficit [Child Developmental Assessment Scale (CDCC)], developmental quotient [Gesell Developmental Diagnostic Scale (GDS)], quality of life [PedsQLTM4.0 Generic Core Scales], and nursing satisfaction were compared between the two groups. Results: The scores of GMFM-88, BBS, GDS, and PedsQLTM4.0 in the observation group were higher than those in the control group (P<0.05); the CDCC score in the observation group was lower than that in the control group (P<0.05); and the nursing satisfaction rate of the families of children in the observation group was higher than that in the control group (P<0.05). Conclusion: Bobath therapy combined with progressive rehabilitation nursing based on the case management model can effectively improve the motor and neurological functions of children with motor disorders, enhance their developmental quotient, quality of life, and nursing satisfaction.
