Application of Cardiac Rehabilitation Combined with Social Support Intervention in the Nursing Care of Patients After Coronary Artery Bypass Graft Surgery
Abstract:Objective: To observe the effect of cardiac rehabilitation combined with social support intervention in the nursing care of patients after coronary artery bypass graft surgery. Methods: A total of 83 patients who underwent coronary artery bypass graft surgery from January 2022 to December 2024 were randomly divided into a control group (n=41) and a study group (n=42) using a coin-flipping method. The control group received routine postoperative nursing intervention, while the study group received cardiac rehabilitation combined with social support intervention, both for 3 months. The psychological state [Self-Rating Anxiety Scale (SAS), Self-Rating Depression Scale (SDS) scores], self-management ability [Coronary Heart Disease Self-Management Behavior Scale (CSMS) scores], cardiac function [Left Ventricular Ejection Fraction (LVEF), 6-minute Walk Test (6MWT)], and quality of life [General Quality of Life Inventory-74 (GQOLI-74) scores] were observed in both groups. Results: After the intervention, the SAS and SDS scores of the study group were lower than those of the control group (P<0.05). The scores of all dimensions of CSMS and the total score were higher in the study group than in the control group (P<0.05). LVEF was higher in the study group, and 6MWT was longer than in the control group (P<0.05). All dimensions of GQOLI-74 scores were higher in the study group than in the control group (P<0.05). Conclusion: Cardiac rehabilitation combined with social support intervention can alleviate negative emotions in patients after coronary artery bypass graft surgery, enhance their self-management ability, and improve their cardiac function and quality of life.
