Construction of an Anti-inflammatory Dietary Management Program for Cancer Patients Based on a Multi-Theoretical Model
Abstract:Objective: To construct an anti-inflammatory dietary management program for cancer patients based on a multi-theoretical model (MTM). Methods: Through literature review, the MTM was used to initially construct the anti-inflammatory dietary management program for cancer patients. A two-round Delphi expert consultation was conducted with 15 experts from five hospitals in three regions. A final version of the program was formed. Results: The effective recovery rates of the questionnaires in the two rounds were 75.00% and 100.00%, respectively. The experts' degree of judgment was 0.95 and 0.98, their familiarity level was 0.78 and 0.82, and their authority coefficient was 0.87 and 0.90. The Kendall's coefficient of concordance was 0.41 and 0.61 (P < 0.01). Finally, an anti-inflammatory dietary management program for cancer patients was formed, consisting of 3 first-level indicators, 8 second-level indicators, and 35 third-level indicators. Conclusion: The anti-inflammatory dietary management program for cancer patients based on MTM is scientific and clinically practical, and can provide theoretical guidance for the anti-inflammatory dietary management of cancer patients.
