Systematic Review of the Scope of Risk Prediction Models for Agitation During Emergence from General Anesthesia
Abstract:Objective: To conduct a systematic review of risk prediction models for agitation during emergence from general anesthesia, providing references and insights for clinical nursing practice and future research. Methods: Focused on risk prediction models for agitation during emergence from general anesthesia, systematically searched Chinese and English databases, extracted information on study subjects, incidence of agitation, model construction methods, predictive factors, and performance. Results: A total of 14 studies were included, involving 14 models. The incidence of agitation during emergence from general anesthesia ranged from 20.6% to 38.7%. The overall performance of the models was good, but the construction methods were relatively single. Age, postoperative pain score, indwelling urinary catheter, and postoperative analgesia were important factors in predicting agitation. Conclusion: Clinical medical staff should pay attention to high-risk factors for agitation during emergence from general anesthesia and choose high-performance assessment tools to guide practice. Future research could use visualization tools to build accurate and widely applicable models. Prospective, multi-center external validation can continuously optimize the models to support clinical interventions.
