Nursing Practice and Evaluation of Cervical Cerclage Postoperative Care Based on Traditional Chinese Medicine Qi and Blood Theory and Western Chronic Disease Management Theory
Abstract:Objective: To explore the application effect of comprehensive nursing intervention based on traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) qi and blood theory and western chronic disease management theory in pregnant women after cervical cerclage. Methods: A convenience sampling method was used to select 100 pregnant women who underwent cervical cerclage at the hospital from January to December 2023 as the study subjects, randomly divided into observation group and control group, with 50 cases in each group. The observation group received comprehensive nursing intervention based on TCM qi and blood theory and western chronic disease management theory, while the control group received routine nursing. The two groups were compared in terms of delivery gestational age, postpartum blood loss, incidence of puerperal infection, neonatal health status, and patient nursing satisfaction. Results: The delivery gestational age of the observation group was longer than that of the control group (P < 0.05), and the postpartum blood loss of the observation group was less than that of the control group (P < 0.05). The weight and 1-minute Apgar score of the newborns in the observation group were higher than those in the control group (P < 0.05), and the patient nursing satisfaction in the observation group was higher than that in the control group (P < 0.05). Conclusion: Comprehensive nursing intervention based on TCM qi and blood theory and western chronic disease management theory can effectively prolong the delivery gestational age, reduce postpartum bleeding, improve neonatal health status, and enhance patient nursing satisfaction. This nursing model provides a new idea for the care of pregnant women after cervical cerclage.
