Construction and Application of a Bundle Care Program for Preventing Non-Ventilator-Related Pneumonia in Patients with Cerebral Hemorrhage
Abstract:Objective: To construct a bundle care program and explore its application effect in preventing non-ventilator-related pneumonia in patients with cerebral hemorrhage and improving nursing satisfaction. Methods: A bundle care intervention program was constructed based on evidence-based medicine and the Delphi method. A total of 95 patients with cerebral hemorrhage hospitalized in the neurosurgery department of a tertiary hospital in Jiangsu Province from November 2022 to October 2023 were selected as the study subjects. Using convenience sampling, 47 patients who met the criteria from November 2022 to April 2023 were set as the control group, and 48 patients who met the criteria from May 2023 to October 2023 were set as the experimental group. The experimental group received bundle care, while the control group received routine care. The incidence of non-ventilator-related pneumonia and nursing satisfaction between the two groups were compared. Results: The incidence of non-ventilator-related pneumonia in the experimental group was 12.50%, which was lower than that in the control group (29.79%); the nursing satisfaction in the experimental group was 93.75%, higher than that in the control group (74.47%). The differences were statistically significant (P < 0.05). Conclusion: The bundle care program constructed in this study can effectively reduce the incidence of non-ventilator-related pneumonia in patients with cerebral hemorrhage and improve nursing satisfaction.
