Research Status of Respite Services for Family Caregivers at Home and Abroad
Abstract：This paper reviews the current research status of respite services for family caregivers abroad, focusing on four aspects: service recipients, needs and utilization, service effectiveness evaluation, and service delivery methods. Currently, research on respite services abroad is becoming more detailed, with increasingly diverse research methods, which has certain reference value for the theoretical and practical research fields of respite services in China. By combining China's specific national conditions, it is possible to improve respite service plans, expand the target population of respite services, and explore implementation paths that fit China's development situation, thereby further alleviating the physical and mental pressure of caregivers, improving the quality of care, and enhancing the sense of happiness of both caregivers and the people being cared for.
