Analysis of the Application Value of Continuity Care Based on 'Internet+' in Patients After Cataract Surgery
Abstract:Objective: To explore the application effect of continuity care based on 'Internet+' in patients after cataract surgery, to enhance the applicability of clinical nursing. Methods: A retrospective analysis was conducted on the data of 100 patients who underwent cataract surgery in the hospital from August 2021 to August 2023. Among them, 60 patients who received 'Internet+' continuity care were included in the observation group, and 40 patients who received conventional continuity care were included in the control group. After 6 months of nursing, the satisfaction with nursing, quality of life [Low Vision Quality of Life Scale (LVQOL)], self-efficacy [General Self-Efficacy Scale (GSS)], visual acuity recovery, and complications were compared between the two groups. Results: After 6 months of nursing, the satisfaction of the observation group was higher than that of the control group (P < 0.05); the visual acuity recovery of the observation group was better than that of the control group (P < 0.05); the scores of LVQOL and GSS were higher in the observation group than in the control group (P < 0.05); the incidence of complications in the observation group was lower than that in the control group (P < 0.05). Conclusion: 'Internet+' continuity care has a certain effect on visual acuity recovery in patients after cataract surgery, and patients have a high level of satisfaction. It also significantly improves the quality of life and self-efficacy of patients, and reduces the occurrence of complications during the nursing process.
