Application of Process Map-Incentive Exercise in Maintaining Hemodialysis Patients with Autologous Arteriovenous Fistula
Abstract:Objective: To explore the effect of process map-incentive exercise on patients with autologous arteriovenous fistula undergoing maintenance hemodialysis. Methods: Since October 2021, process map-incentive exercise has been applied to patients undergoing maintenance hemodialysis. Before that, routine nursing was mainly used. A total of 66 patients with autologous arteriovenous fistula undergoing maintenance hemodialysis were selected from two periods: October 2019 to September 2021 and October 2021 to September 2023 at Qidong People's Hospital in Jiangsu Province. According to whether the process map-incentive exercise was applied before or after, they were divided into control group and observation group. The maturation of the fistula and upper limb motor function were compared between the two groups. Results: The maturation time of the fistula in the observation group was shorter than that in the control group, and the blood flow was higher than that in the control group (P < 0.05). The upper limb motor function score of the observation group was higher than that of the control group (P < 0.05). Conclusion: The application of process map-incentive exercise in patients with autologous arteriovenous fistula undergoing maintenance hemodialysis can promote the recovery of upper limb motor function and the maturation of arteriovenous fistula, which is helpful in improving the fistula blood flow.
