Application Effect of Nursing Plan Based on the Theory of Wisdom in Adult Patients with Poisoning Suicide
Abstract:Objective: To explore the application effect of a nursing plan based on the theory of wisdom in adult patients with poisoning suicide. Methods: A total of 110 patients with poisoning suicide admitted to the Second Affiliated Hospital of Shandong First Medical University from June 2022 to May 2024 were selected as the study subjects. They were randomly divided into a control group and an observation group, each with 55 cases, using a random number table method. The control group received routine nursing, while the observation group received nursing based on the theory of wisdom on top of the control group. The scores of the Chinese version of the Wisdom Scale (C-RS), Benefit Finding Scale (BFS), and Beck Depression Inventory-II (BDI-Ⅱ) were compared between the two groups at T0 (after the patient's condition stabilized), T1 (one day before discharge), T2 (one month after discharge), and T3 (three months after discharge). Results: Finally, 53 cases in the control group and 52 cases in the observation group completed the study. There was a statistically significant time overall effect and intervention main effect on the C-RS, BFS, and BDI-Ⅱ scores (P < 0.001). The differences in C-RS, BFS, and BDI-Ⅱ scores between the two groups were statistically significant at T1, T2, and T3 (P < 0.001). During the follow-up period, the re-suicide rate in the control group was 9.09%, while no patients in the observation group had re-suicide. Conclusion: Nursing based on the theory of wisdom can enhance the wisdom ability and benefit finding level of adult suicide patients, reduce depressive emotions, and lower the re-suicide rate.
