Research Progress on the Application of Soft Medical Devices in the Prevention of Surgical Site Infections
Abstract：Establishing a sterile barrier in the operating room is an important method for preventing surgical site infections. Compared with traditional medical textiles, soft medical devices are more effective in establishing a sterile barrier. This article reviews the concept of soft medical devices, their development and application status at home and abroad, and the research progress on their role in preventing surgical site infections, aiming to provide references for clinical selection of more effective infection control products. At the same time, it discusses the current problems and future development trends of soft medical devices, in order to reduce the incidence of surgical site infections, improve patient treatment outcomes and prognosis, and enhance the level of infection control in the operating room.
