Application Progress of Patient-Reported Outcome Measures in Patients with Stroke
Abstract:Objective: To review the patient-reported outcome measures for patients with stroke both domestically and internationally, in order to provide references for the development and application of such tools. Methods: A systematic search was conducted on studies related to patient-reported outcome assessment tools for stroke patients, and relevant literature was retrieved, organized, and analyzed. Results: Eleven stroke-specific assessment tools and some general-purpose scales were summarized. The main content, application fields, characteristics, advantages, and limitations of various measurement tools were analyzed and summarized. Conclusion: Future researchers should further develop and validate existing patient-reported outcome measures, while actively developing specific tools for evaluating the treatment burden of stroke patients, in order to provide references and insights for formulating targeted interventions.
