Prevention Effect of Feedforward Control Scheme under Multidisciplinary Team (MDT) Nursing Model on the Risk of Pulmonary Infection in Elderly Patients with Stroke
Abstract:Objective: To observe the preventive effect of a feedforward control scheme under the multidisciplinary team (MDT) nursing model on the risk of pulmonary infection in elderly patients with stroke. Methods: A total of 86 elderly patients with stroke admitted to the hospital from January 2021 to November 2022 were selected as the study subjects and randomly divided into an observation group and a control group, with 43 cases in each group. The control group received conventional feedforward control intervention, while the observation group received intervention based on the MDT nursing model. The clinical efficacy, incidence of pulmonary infection, limb motor function, muscle strength, daily living ability, neurological function, and nursing satisfaction were compared between the two groups. Results: The total effective rate of the observation group was higher than that of the control group (P < 0.05), and the incidence of pulmonary infection was lower than that of the control group (P < 0.05). After intervention, the scores for limb motor function, muscle strength level, and daily living ability of the observation group were significantly higher than those of the control group (P < 0.05), while the neurological function score was significantly lower (P < 0.05), and the nursing satisfaction was higher (P < 0.05). Conclusion: Implementing a feedforward control scheme under the MDT nursing model can effectively control the risk of pulmonary infection in elderly patients with stroke, improve the quality of intervention, and enhance the patient's motor function, living ability, and muscle strength.
