Application of Early Activity Based on Social Learning Theory in Patients Undergoing Cardiopulmonary Bypass Surgery
Abstract:Objective: To explore the effect of early activity based on social learning theory in patients undergoing cardiopulmonary bypass surgery. Methods: From August 2021 to August 2023, 100 patients undergoing cardiopulmonary bypass surgery were selected as the study subjects. According to the random number table method, the patients were divided into an intervention group and a control group, with 50 patients in each group. The control group received routine postoperative care, while the intervention group received early activity intervention based on social learning theory on top of the control group's care. The two groups were compared before and after the intervention in terms of rehabilitation self-efficacy, fear of movement scores, postoperative complications, rehabilitation outcomes, and satisfaction with rehabilitation. Results: After the intervention, the rehabilitation self-efficacy score of the intervention group was higher than that of the control group (P < 0.05), while the fear of movement score and the incidence of postoperative complications were lower in the intervention group (P < 0.05). The time to get out of bed, the time of the first postoperative defecation, the length of stay in the ICU, and the hospitalization duration were all shorter in the intervention group than in the control group (P < 0.05). Conclusion: Early activity based on social learning theory can effectively enhance the self-efficacy of patients undergoing cardiopulmonary bypass surgery, reduce their fear of movement, promote early postoperative activity, reduce related complications, and improve patient prognosis.
