Research Progress on Bidirectional Social Support for the Elderly
Abstract：This paper reviews the concept and classification of bidirectional social support for the elderly, as well as its measurement tools and influencing factors. It proposes that bidirectional social support positively promotes the physical and mental health of the elderly. It also suggests developing a concept and connotation of bidirectional social support suitable for China's elderly population, along with measurement tools and intervention strategies to enhance the level of bidirectional social support among the elderly.
