Construction and Application of Non-Pharmacological Intervention Schemes for Postoperative Gastrointestinal Function Recovery in Patients with Gynecological Malignant Tumors
Abstract:Objective: To construct a non-pharmacological intervention scheme for postoperative gastrointestinal function recovery in patients with gynecological malignant tumors based on evidence-based practice, and to explore its application effect. Methods: A total of 112 patients with gynecological malignant tumors were selected as the study subjects. Fifty-six patients admitted between June and December 2023 were assigned to the experimental group, while fifty-six patients admitted between January and May 2023 were assigned to the control group. The control group received routine nursing care, while the experimental group received an additional non-pharmacological intervention scheme aimed at promoting postoperative gastrointestinal function recovery. The gastrointestinal function recovery status, anxiety and depression scores, and patient satisfaction scores were compared between the two groups. Results: The time to recovery of bowel sounds in the experimental group was (34.87±6.06) hours, the time to first flatus was (38.19±5.95) hours, and the time to first defecation was (45.07±5.87) hours, all of which were lower than those in the control group [(37.62±7.04) hours, (42.41±6.58) hours, (50.57±6.78) hours] (P < 0.05). The self-rating anxiety scale (SAS) score of the experimental group was (50.03±4.66) points, and the self-rating depression scale (SDS) score was (56.62±5.17) points, both lower than those of the control group [(57.79±6.94) points, (59.16±7.02) points] (P < 0.05). The patient satisfaction score of the experimental group was (28.78±2.28) points, higher than that of the control group [(27.18±4.36) points] (P < 0.05). Conclusion: Constructing a non-pharmacological intervention scheme for postoperative gastrointestinal function recovery in patients with gynecological malignant tumors based on evidence-based practice is beneficial for postoperative gastrointestinal function recovery, reduces negative emotions, and improves patient satisfaction.
