Research Progress on Dyadic Heart Failure Care in Patients with Chronic Heart Failure and Their Caregivers
Abstract:Chronic heart failure is one of the major diseases threatening global human health, and its prevalence has been continuously increasing in recent years. Self-management is an important method for patients to control the progression of heart failure and maintain their health. More and more researchers abroad have proven that heart failure self-care is a dyadic phenomenon. Patients with heart failure and their caregivers, as a dyad, influence each other's disease management behaviors and mental and physical health. This study reviews from the perspective of dyadic heart failure care for patients with chronic heart failure and their caregivers, covering theoretical support for dyadic heart failure care, types of dyadic heart failure care, current research on dyadic influences, and dyadic intervention studies, aiming to provide references for better promoting heart failure self-care practices based on dyadic relationships in China.
