Research Progress on the Management of Postoperative Nausea and Vomiting After Bariatric Metabolic Surgery
Abstract：This review summarizes the clinical characteristics, risk factors, timing of assessment, and assessment tools for postoperative nausea and vomiting (PONV) after bariatric surgery. It explores prevention, treatment, and nursing strategies for PONV during the perioperative period of bariatric surgery, aiming to enhance the awareness of clinical medical staff in managing PONV in bariatric patients, provide reference for standardized management of PONV, and further improve the quality of patient recovery.
