Research Progress on Nutritional Status and Nursing Interventions for Elderly Patients with Type 2 Diabetes
Abstract：Malnutrition is a risk factor for frailty, complications, and mortality in elderly diabetic patients, and is closely related to their health outcomes and quality of life. It is a current health challenge that needs to be addressed. This study reviews and summarizes the nutritional status, assessment tools, influencing factors, and intervention methods of elderly patients with type 2 diabetes, aiming to help medical staff understand the nutritional status of these patients and provide reference for developing targeted interventions to improve nutrition and reduce adverse clinical outcomes.
