Construction of a Risk Prediction Model for Cancer-Related Cognitive Dysfunction in Breast Cancer Patients Based on Meta-Analysis
Abstract:Objective: To construct a risk prediction model for cancer-related cognitive dysfunction in breast cancer patients based on meta-analysis. Methods: A meta-analysis was conducted to identify risk factors for cognitive dysfunction in breast cancer patients. Based on the results of the meta-analysis, meaningful risk factors and their combined effect values were extracted to build a logistic regression risk prediction model and validate it. Results: A total of 16 studies were included. Through meta-analysis, six risk factors were identified, and the risk prediction model constructed was Logit(P) = -1.253 + 1.836 × age + 0.378 × low educational level + 0.086 × anxiety + 0.811 × chemotherapy + 1.433 × number of chemotherapy cycles + 1.314 × triple-negative breast cancer. The area under the ROC curve of the model was 0.876, 95% CI (0.808, 0.944), with a sensitivity of 0.857 and a specificity of 0.786. Conclusion: The risk prediction model for cognitive dysfunction in breast cancer patients constructed based on the results of meta-analysis has good predictive performance and can serve as a tool for early identification of high-risk individuals for cognitive dysfunction.
