The Impact and Optimization of Solar Radiation on Floor Radiant Systems
Abstract:Taking a reading room in a library in Hengyang as the research object, this study proposes a zonal cooling scheme for floor radiant systems based on the typical solar irradiance conditions. Through energy simulation software Energy Plus, the effects of the total solar transmittance of exterior windows, supply water temperature, and supply water velocity on the floor surface temperature and indoor thermal comfort are analyzed. Based on this, an operational strategy for zonal cooling control is proposed. The results show that the total solar transmittance of exterior windows and supply water temperature have a significant impact on the floor surface temperature and indoor thermal comfort, while the supply water velocity has a relatively smaller effect; the zonal cooling control scheme can effectively alleviate local overheating in the library reading room, making the indoor temperature distribution more uniform and significantly improving the indoor thermal comfort.
