Dehumidification Technology Simulation and Energy Saving Analysis of Cultural Relics Cave
Abstract:To study the condensation on the wall surface of open caves under high humidity outdoor conditions in summer and the effect of dehumidifiers on improving the micro-environment inside the cave, a model was established based on an actual cave, and Fluent software was used to simulate the dehumidifier's operating conditions. Under the premise of ensuring that the temperature and humidity inside the cave are within the optimal range for cultural relics preservation, energy consumption was reduced. The results show that when the outdoor humidity is high in summer, condensation occurs on the cave walls. When the dehumidifier is placed 2.5 m away from the southeast corner of the cave, with an air supply temperature of 18°C and an air supply velocity of 5 m/s, the temperature and humidity distribution inside the cave is relatively uniform and meets the requirements for cultural relics preservation.
