Economic Analysis of Energy Saving and Emission Reduction in Existing Public Buildings
Abstract:In response to the energy-saving and emission-reduction project requirements of a public building in Shenzhen, this study adopts the incremental cost analysis method to analyze the energy-saving measures and their economic viability, and predicts the project's energy saving, static investment payback period, and dynamic investment payback period. The research shows that a reasonable and accurate economic analysis is key to achieving a win-win situation between building owners and energy-saving renovation companies. Public building energy-saving and emission-reduction projects can improve building operational efficiency, reduce carbon emissions, promote social benefits, and meet the requirements of green and sustainable development.
