Analysis of Soil Temperature Change Characteristics of Ground-Coupled Heat Pump System during Long-Term Operation
Abstract:To investigate the characteristics of soil temperature changes in and around the buried pipe area of a ground-coupled heat pump system, soil temperature monitoring was conducted in and around the buried pipe area of a dual-U ground-coupled heat pump heating and cooling project in a demonstration base in Handan. The soil temperature monitoring data over five years were analyzed. The results show that the soil temperature in and around the buried pipe heat exchange area fluctuates with atmospheric conditions and energy supply demand; the temperature gradient of soil at different depths in the monitoring wells within the buried pipe area gradually decreases; the average temperature change of the soil caused by the buried pipe heat exchanger is small, and no cold accumulation phenomenon has occurred. The influence radius of the ground temperature is 2.8-5.0 m, indicating good operational performance.
