Multicenter Survey on the Current Situation and Needs of Position Training for Nursing Staff in Naval Hospitals
Abstract:The development of contemporary society has endowed nursing work with new connotations in terms of functions and concepts, and has also raised new requirements and expectations for nursing staff [1-2]. Nursing personnel in naval hospitals, as the front line of medical care and an important component of naval health support [3], not only need to possess solid professional knowledge and skills, but also should have the ability to ensure long-term navigation at sea, treat combat injuries at sea, perform military operations, and provide health education, among other comprehensive abilities [4-5]. The 'Outline of the Development Plan for China's Nursing Cause (2021–2025)' proposes that one of the main tasks of nursing work is to establish a nurse training system oriented by job demands and centered on job competence [6]. Conducting position-based training according to job requirements is an effective way for nursing staff to enhance their professional capabilities and plays an important role in improving the core competitiveness of the hospital. Currently, there are few large-scale studies on the position training of different categories of nursing staff in naval hospitals. Moreover, how to effectively manage and train nursing staff in naval hospitals to make them versatile and comprehensive new-type military nursing professionals has become the top priority in the development of the military nursing team. Therefore, this study conducts a multicenter large-sample survey to understand the current situation and needs of position training for nursing staff in naval hospitals, aiming to provide references for establishing a scientific and applicable position training system for nursing staff in naval hospitals.
