Clinical Efficacy of Electro-Acupuncture Combined with Xiaocuo Wenda Decoction in the Treatment of Acne with Phlegm-Stasis-Damp Syndrome and Its Effect on Inflammatory Factors
Abstract：Acne is a chronic inflammatory disease of the pilosebaceous unit, commonly occurring in adolescents [1]. Typical skin lesions include papules, pustules, nodules on the face and back, often accompanied by seborrhea. In recent years, with changes in lifestyle, its incidence has been increasing. It not only affects appearance but also easily leads to psychological problems such as anxiety and depression. Western medicine mainly uses antibiotics and retinoids for treatment, but there are limitations such as drug resistance and skin irritation.
