Research Progress on Pericardial Adipose Tissue in Coronary Atherosclerotic Heart Disease
Abstract：According to the 'China Cardiovascular Health and Disease Report 2023', cardiovascular diseases are the leading cause of death worldwide. It is estimated that currently there are 11.39 million patients with coronary atherosclerotic heart disease in China, and its prevalence and mortality rates are continuously increasing [1]. The key mechanism of coronary atherosclerotic heart disease is coronary atherosclerosis, which involves multiple factors, including inflammatory responses, platelet activation, thrombosis, lipid disorders, endothelial dysfunction, and oxidative stress.
