Analysis of Dynamic Electrocardiogram Monitoring Results in Elderly Patients with Coronary Heart Disease and Anxiety
Abstract:Objective: To analyze the dynamic electrocardiogram monitoring results in elderly patients with coronary heart disease combined with anxiety. Methods: A total of 76 elderly patients with coronary heart disease treated at the sample hospital from January 2023 to January 2024 were selected as the study subjects. According to whether they had comorbid anxiety symptoms, the patients were divided into the control group (without comorbid anxiety symptoms, 36 cases) and the observation group (with comorbid anxiety symptoms, 40 cases). Changes in dynamic electrocardiogram were evaluated between the two groups. Results: The incidence rates of atrioventricular block, atrial premature beats, short episodes of atrial tachycardia, RR interval abnormalities, all sinus beat RR interval abnormalities, and adjacent RR interval abnormalities in the observation group were higher than those in the control group, while the incidence rate of ventricular premature beats and heart rate variability indices were lower than those in the control group. The differences were statistically significant (P < 0.05). Conclusion: The persistent presence of anxiety in elderly patients with coronary heart disease not only leads to unstable heart rate but also increases the occurrence of arrhythmias and heart rate variability, thereby negatively affecting heart rate variability. Moreover, anxiety may weaken the autonomic nervous function of patients, thus affecting the stability and regulatory capacity of the cardiovascular system.
