Efficacy Analysis of Low-Molecular-Weight Heparin Combined with Intermittent Foot Vein Pump in Preventing Deep Vein Thrombosis After Cervical Cancer Surgery
Abstract:Objective: To analyze the clinical effect of low-molecular-weight heparin combined with intermittent foot vein pump in preventing deep vein thrombosis (DVT) after cervical cancer surgery. Methods: A total of 62 patients who underwent laparoscopic radical hysterectomy for cervical cancer at Longnan County People's Hospital from June 2023 to December 2024 were selected as the study subjects. They were randomly divided into a control group (31 cases, receiving low-molecular-weight heparin for prevention) and a study group (31 cases, receiving low-molecular-weight heparin plus intermittent foot vein pump for prevention). Both groups received intervention for 14 days. The incidence of DVT, coagulation function indicators [D-dimer (D-D), thrombin time (TT), platelet count (PLT), prothrombin time (PT), activated partial thromboplastin time (APTT), fibrinogen (FIB), and international normalized ratio (INR)], and deep vein ultrasound results [deep femoral vein diameter (DFV), average blood flow velocity in the femoral vein (V), and stasis index of the femoral vein (SI)] were compared between the two groups. Results: The overall incidence of DVT in the study group was lower than that in the control group, with a statistically significant difference (P < 0.05). On postoperative days 7 and 14, the levels of D-D, TT, PT, APTT, and FIB in both groups gradually decreased, and the study group showed lower values than the control group, with statistically significant differences (P < 0.05). On postoperative day 7, the DFV and SI of both groups decreased, while the V increased, and the study group performed better than the control group, with statistically significant differences (P < 0.05). Conclusion: The combination of low-molecular-weight heparin and intermittent foot vein pump has a significant effect in preventing DVT formation after cervical cancer surgery, effectively reducing the incidence of DVT and improving the patient's coagulation function and lower limb venous blood flow status.
