Diagnostic Value of 64-Slice Spiral CT Angiography in Patients with Lower Limb Arterial Atherosclerotic Occlusive Disease and Evaluation of Restenosis After Endovascular Intervention
Abstract:Objective: To analyze the effect of 64-slice spiral CT angiography in the diagnosis of lower limb arterial atherosclerotic occlusive disease and to evaluate its clinical value in assessing restenosis after endovascular intervention. Methods: A total of 95 patients with lower limb arterial atherosclerotic occlusive disease treated at Anyang Third People's Hospital from January 2022 to December 2022 were selected as study subjects. All patients underwent 64-slice spiral CT angiography. The results and effectiveness of 64-slice spiral CT angiography in diagnosing lower limb arterial atherosclerotic occlusive disease were analyzed, and the restenosis rate after endovascular intervention was evaluated using 64-slice spiral CT angiography. Results: Among the 95 patients, a total of 1,666 vascular segments were observed, including 455 segments with mild stenosis, 249 segments with moderate stenosis, and 138 segments with severe stenosis. The sensitivity, specificity, accuracy, and Kappa value of 64-slice spiral CT angiography in diagnosing arterial stenosis were 97.56%, 99.94%, 99.88%, and 0.98, respectively. For moderate or more severe stenosis, the sensitivity, specificity, accuracy, and Kappa value were 95.36%, 98.62%, 97.78%, and 0.95, respectively. All 95 patients received interventional treatment, and follow-up was conducted one year after treatment. After 64-slice spiral CT angiography examination, the restenosis rate was 12.63%. After endovascular intervention, 12 patients developed vascular stenosis, involving 220 vascular segments. The compliance rate of 64-slice spiral CT angiography in diagnosing post-intervention restenosis was 97.73%. Conclusion: The application of 64-slice spiral CT angiography in the diagnosis of lower limb arterial atherosclerotic occlusive disease can yield results consistent with those of angiography, demonstrating high diagnostic value. Using this method to evaluate the restenosis rate after endovascular intervention in patients can achieve a high diagnostic compliance rate.
