Study on the Effects of Labetalol Tablets Combined with Nifedipine on Coagulation Function and Vascular Endothelial Function in Patients with Hypertensive Disorders in Pregnancy
Abstract:Objective: To explore the effects of labetalol tablets combined with nifedipine on coagulation function and vascular endothelial function in patients with hypertensive disorders in pregnancy (HDP). Methods: A total of 63 HDP patients admitted to the Second People's Hospital of Pingdingshan City from July 2018 to September 2023 were selected as the study subjects and divided into a control group (32 cases) and a study group (31 cases) according to the treatment regimen. The control group received nifedipine treatment, while the study group received nifedipine plus labetalol tablets. The efficacy, incidence of adverse reactions, blood pressure [systolic blood pressure (SBP), diastolic blood pressure (DBP)], coagulation function [fibrinogen (FIB), activated partial thromboplastin time (APTT), prothrombin time (PT), D-dimer (D-D)], vascular endothelial function [nitric oxide (NO), endothelin-1 (ET-1)], insulin-like growth factor-1 (IGF-1), and soluble fms-like tyrosine kinase-1 (sFLT-1) were compared between the two groups. Results: The total effective rate of the study group was higher than that of the control group, with a statistically significant difference (χ2=4.448, P<0.05). After treatment, the SBP and DBP levels of the study group were lower than those of the control group, with statistically significant differences (t=4.493, 2.935, P<0.05). After treatment, the FIB and D-D levels of the study group were lower than those of the control group, while the APTT and PT of the study group were longer than those of the control group, with statistically significant differences (t=19.503, 17.440, 18.852, 27.571, P<0.05). After treatment, the ET-1 level of the study group was lower than that of the control group, while the sFLT-1, NO, and IGF-1 levels of the study group were higher than those of the control group, with statistically significant differences (t=3.628, 4.282, 2.293, 14.639, P<0.05). There was no statistically significant difference in the overall incidence of adverse reactions between the two groups (χ2=0.109, P>0.05). Conclusion: Labetalol tablets combined with nifedipine are effective in treating HDP patients, can reduce blood pressure, alleviate endothelial dysfunction, improve coagulation function, and are safe and reliable.
