Scientific Control Strategies for the Rice Stem Borer in Mountainous Areas
Abstract：The rice stem borer is a category of agricultural pests and diseases that occur year-round in rice production in the mountainous areas of Yunxi, causing serious damage and posing a significant challenge for control. To effectively reduce the losses caused by the rice stem borer and achieve the goals of cost reduction, efficiency enhancement, and green and safe rice production, this paper analyzes and summarizes the occurrence patterns of the rice stem borer in the mountainous areas of Yunxi and the problems with traditional control methods. It also identifies the reasons why controlling the rice stem borer in mountainous areas is difficult and proposes basic strategies and specific measures for scientific control of the rice stem borer in mountainous rice fields.
