Comparative Study on the Effectiveness and Benefits of Different Fungicides for the Control of Sclerotinia Stem Rot in Rapeseed
Abstract:To screen for fungicides with good efficacy against rapeseed sclerotinia stem rot and optimal cost-effectiveness, a field trial was conducted from March to May 2025 in winter rapeseed fields using nine types of fungicides. The results showed that 35% fluquinconazole + tebuconazole SC and 200 g/L fludioxonil SC had the highest disease control efficacy, at 84.8% and 83.8%, respectively, with average economic benefits of 617.14 yuan/667m² and 612.21 yuan/667m². However, due to their relatively high application costs (both at 60 yuan/667m²), they can be used as control agents for high-yield fields, dry land continuous cropping fields, and years with severe occurrence of rapeseed sclerotinia stem rot. 30% prothioconazole OD achieved a disease control efficacy of 80%, with an average economic benefit of 606.37 yuan/667m² and moderate application cost (30 yuan/667m²), making it the preferred conventional fungicide for farmers to control rapeseed sclerotinia stem rot in years with moderate to severe disease incidence.
