Overview of Pesticide Registration for Soybean Fields in China in 2024
Abstract：On the basis of comprehensively revoking the registration of highly toxic pesticides, a total of 80 new pesticide products or expanded use registrations were approved for soybean fields in China in 2024. This includes the first approval of glyphosate and glufosinate for use in herbicide-resistant transgenic soybean fields, the first approval of three other active ingredients for use in soybean fields, as well as the first approval of pesticide products for controlling soybean sclerotinia. This article sorts out the pesticide registration situation for soybean fields in China in 2024 and looks forward to the future trends in pesticide registration for soybean fields, aiming to provide references for relevant managers, producers, and users.
