Field Evaluation of Propiconazole and Its Mixture Agents for Controlling Wheat Fusarium Head Blight
Abstract:To investigate the effect of different formulations on the control of wheat fusarium head blight and screen efficient pesticide combinations, this study systematically evaluated the field control effects of six propiconazole formulations and their mixtures: 40% propiconazole SC, 40% propiconazole + pyraclostrobin SC, 40% metrafenone SC, 20% tebuconazole + thiamethoxam SC, 20% penthiopyrad EW, and 250 g/L fludioxonil SC. The results showed that the 40% propiconazole + pyraclostrobin SC (20+20) mixture at a 750-fold dilution had the best control effect, with a disease control efficiency of 81.5% after one application. The second best was the 40% propiconazole SC at a 1000-fold dilution, with a control efficiency of 80.5%. It is recommended that in production, one application of 40% propiconazole SC at a 1000-fold dilution or 40% propiconazole + pyraclostrobin SC (20+20) at a 750-fold dilution be sprayed during the initial flowering stage of wheat (approximately 5% flowering) to control wheat fusarium head blight.
